Australia has confirmed two travellers from southern Africa have tested positive in Sydney for the new Omicron Covid-19 variant.
Both people are fully vaccinated and are staying in isolation after arriving on Saturday.
Australia is now requiring 14-day quarantine for citizens and their dependents travelling from nine countries in southern Africa.
