More women on boards key to more women in senior management

Want to see more women in senior management at work? Then start by having more women on your board.

New research from University of Otago finds that the more women on a board, the better the prospects for female bosses.

There is also evidence that a diverse board improves a firm's performance.

New Zealand has work to do.

In 2020, fewer than 30 percent of board directors were women, and a fifth of all those listed on the NZX - have no women on their boards whatsoever.
