Christopher Luxon promises to turn turbulence to teamwork for National Party

The beleaguered National Party has pinned its hopes on a political novice to resurrect its fortunes and win the next election.

The former Air New Zealand boss Christopher Luxon was elected uncontested yesterday, after Judith Collins was ousted by the caucus last week.

His first challenge will be putting an end to the party's bitter infighting.
