The construction industry future is looking bright but crying out for innovation and investment, according to the National Construction Pipeline Report just out.
It forecasts over a quarter of a million new houses will be consented over the next six years and says growth in construction will be long term - driven largely by residential developments.
But where are the workers, and the building materials, to stack it up?
The report comes from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.
