Russia says it is expecting to begin a "discussion of strategic security on the continent" with the US after the high-stakes talks between President Vladimir Putin and US President Joe Biden yesterday, which centered on Ukraine.
A Kremlin spokesperson said the two leaders had agreed to appoint representatives to discuss the situation.
Russia has an estimated 100,000 troops within striking distance of Ukraine.
