Wednesday night saw flooding across the Manawatū area, including in-and-around the Makino stream.
There were 80 flood related callouts and two houses were evacuated in Feilding.
A welfare centre was set up at the St John Ambulance Hall but has since closed.
Federated Farmers Manawatu/Rangitikei president Murray Holdaway saidflooding on farms has caused issues but they are not major or widespread.
In total of 65 properties are affected in some way, 17 roads closed mainly in and around Feilding.
There are reports of stock losses, but they are not expected to be in large numbers.
