The world's first true millipede with more than a thousand legs has been discovered deep in a Western Australian mine.
The critter, named after the Greek goddess of the underworld, now reigns supreme as the animal with the most legs, with 1306.
Prior to this, no millipede had ever been found with more than 750 legs.
Bruno Buzatto from Bennelongia Environmental Consultants, told Morning Report producer Samuel Wat about how the creatures were found.
