The Ministry of Health says it's working on a testing framework which has rapid antigen tests as the predominant method for detecting Covid infections.
The Director of Public Health, Dr Caroline McElnay says New Zealand is working on getting more rapid antigen tests, which are arriving here in stages, in preparation for Omicron spreading in the community.
She spoke to Sarah Robson.
