In Australia, more than 90, 000 Covid cases were recorded across the country on Sunday, as Omicron rips through the community - with Victoria and New South Wales the worst hit states.
One of the new cases recorded in the past week in New South Wales is 19-year-old George Baker, the son of epidemiologist Michael Baker.
He and his partner have been isolating at their home in Manly, since falling ill on Tuesday. He spoke to Sarah Robson.
