Intensive care units are gearing up for a truly intense time over the coming weeks as the country grapples with the Omicron wave.
The College of Critical Care Nurses has calculated that the country is currently short of at least 90 ICU beds, and while some new funding was announced by the government for improving the situation, that won't help over the next month or two.
