Covid-19: Mask maker says ill-fitting masks a hazard

The founder of a New Zealand mask company says he was surprised to hear the government encouraging the use of cloth and surgical masks - when there is ample evidence that face-fitting masks which also filter out Covid-19 virus particles should be the status quo.

Nick Davenport says cloth or surgical masks don't fit well and don't provide effective protection. He believes they instead offer a false sense of security that individuals are protected.
