A New Zealand company has raised more than $142,000 - and counting - for Tonga.
The original goal was to raise $100,000, but thanks to nearly 900 donors that target has been exceeded.
Heilala Vanilla imports raw material from Tonga and they are yet to have direct communication with their vanilla farmers in Eua.
