New Zealanders desperate to return home who feel they've been locked out of the country should have some certainty soon.
Cabinet ministers are expected to discuss their plan for re-opening the borders when they meet today and an announcement could be just days away.
The latest plan states that from the-end-of-February, vaccinated New Zealanders in Australia, and possibly elsewhere, will be allowed to skip MIQ and isolate at home.
