A last gasp decision to contest the Coast to Coast paid off for Wanaka athlete Braden Currie - who won the gruelling South Island multisport race for the fourth time over the weekend.
It was his most astonishing victory, having only decided to compete two days out, after learning his targeted event - Ironman New Zealand - had been postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Currie spoke to Corin Dann.
