Middlemore Hospital in south Auckland hit a Covid-19 milestone of its own this week. One in ten people visiting in its busy emergency department tested positive on Tuesday for Covid-19.
The hospital gives rapid antigen tests to everyone who turns up for treatment, even if they don't have Covid-19 symptoms.
