Matt Henry has made the most of a rare test chance, firing the Black Caps into control on the opening day of the first test against South Africa in Christchurch.
Revelling in green conditions on his home ground of Hagley Oval, Christchurch seamer Henry was nearly unplayable. His figures of seven-for-23 are bettered by just two other New Zealand bowlers in a test innings.
South Africa were skittled for just 95 and New Zealand reached 116 for three by stumps.
