Covid-19: Police shut down plans for 'Covid positive party'

From Morning Report, 7:17 am on 24 February 2022

Police in Dunedin tried to shut down plans for a "Covid positive party" last night in the city's student quarter.

The police say at six o'clock last night they visited a house on Leith Street North and tried to scupper the plans, telling the occupants it was stupid and all positive cases should be isolating, not partying.

Senior Sergeant Anthony Bond is a police officer in Dunedin central.

He spoke to Susie Ferguson.
