A Victoria University of Wellington student says their mental health worsened after being temporarily removed from their residential hall last year for feeling suicidal.
Advocates say Universities need to rethink how they treat students with mental health problems.
For the privacy of the student, who uses the pronouns them and they, their name has been changed and words re-voiced.
