Urgent law will be passed this week so New Zealand can target sanctions against President Putin and the Oligarchs who support his invasion of Ukraine.
The Russian Sanctions Bill will stop them from being able to hide money here, and could freeze assets they already have in Aotearoa.
The government's also published a travel ban list of more than 100 people.
