Flyer beware when travelling offshore during pandemic

With the borders now open for vaccinated New Zealanders to fly in and out without a stint in self-isolation, travellers are urged it's a case of 'buyer beware'.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade says travellers should make contingency plans in case they get Covid-19, or a new variant emerges and the borders need to slam shut.

So, what kind of insurance is available for travellers now?
