Facebook and YouTube have removed a fake video of the Ukraine President, in which he falsely surrendered to Russia.
In the false video, called a deepfake, Volodymr Zelensky appeared behind a presidential podium and backdrop featuring the Ukranian coat of arms.
Deepfake videos use cutting-edge and relatively accessible technology, with the aim of showing a real person doing or saying something they did not.
