The Covid-19 Response Minister is assuring parents only a small number of unvaccinated teachers will return to the job when mandates are lifted on April the 5th.
The Education Ministry says schools will still be able to insist on vaccination for certain roles.
Chris Hipkins told Morning Report the unvaccinated teachers will be vastly outnumbered.
Hipkins says the vaccination mandates have largely served their purpose and it's time to move on.
