The 94th Academy Awards is this afternoon and The Power of the Dog, directed by Kiwi Dame Jane Campion, has a leading 12 nominations, including being tipped as favourite for Best Picture.
The movie was filmed primarily in Otago with the 5500ha sheep and beef farm Braeside, in Central Otago's Ida Valley, playing the role of a 1920s Montana ranch.
Philippa Pope - who farms Braeside alongside her partner Al McKnight and his brother Graeme - spoke with our reporter Timothy Brown.
