Marlborough Sounds salmon dying after hot summer

Record numbers of salmon have died in the Marlborough Sounds, after a long, hot summer caused sea temperatures to rise.

An environmental watchdog group has obtained figures showing a salmon farm company dumped close to 1300 tonnes of dead fish in landfill over the past three months.
