The National Party is backing New Zealand sending military support to Ukraine as it battles the Russian invasion.
Cabinet has agreed to send an airforce Hercules along with 50-soldiers to Europe this week for two months to help distribute aid for Ukraine.
It's extending New Zealand's financial contribution by an extra $13 million. The extra money includes $7.5 million for the UK to buy weapons and ammunition for Ukraine.
