The country has woken up in the orange Covid-19 setting this morning, just in time for the long Easter weekend.
A Covid-19 modeller is warning that the new setting poses a significant risk in Otago and Southland.
Otago University Senior Lecturer, Matthew Parry, told us earlier that the Southern region has the second highest daily case numbers by population, and its hospitalisation risk is going up.
