The Prime Minister will soon be starting her first full day of work away from New Zealand in more than two years.
Jacinda Ardern is in Singapore until Wednesday with trade and business leaders, and then travels on to Japan, to spread the economic word that the country is open for business and tourists.
Boosting exports is a critical part of that, and somebody who will be watching that aspect of the trip closely is Export New Zealand executive director Catherine Beard.
She spoke to Susie Ferguson.
