Volcanic unrest at Mount Ruapehu enters fourth week

Volcanic unrest rumbling around Mount Ruapehu is now into its fourth week.

The heightened unrest tremor levels remain elevated, which is the longest period of tremors recorded over the past 20 years.

One bit of good news is the temperature of the Crater Lake has stabilised at 37C, after increasing by 7C over the past month.
