Schools say Covid-19 case numbers will influence their approach to wearing face masks this term.
Some schools are requiring masks indoors to reduce the spread of Covid-19, while many are simply recommending them.
The government ended mandatory masks for children in years four and above when the country shifted to the orange traffic light level last month.
