Community groups are on tenter-hooks awaiting a decision from the Hamilton City Council on the future of Founders Theatre.
The building was closed in 2016 due to earthquake safety concerns. Two-weeks ago a council committee voted in favour of demolishing the 60-year old building and that decision goes to the full council today.
It will either ratify it, or give a proposal to save the building more time to raise money.
