The New Zealand Veterinary Association is relieved vets are on the government's immigration Green List, giving them a fast-tracked pathway to residence.
Chief executive Kevin Bryan said the help was urgently required to tackle a workforce shortage across Aotearoa and improve the welfare of our animals.
