As the country heads into winter, doctors, paediatricians and parents want the Government to make flu vaccinations free for all New Zealanders, particularly young children.
They say it's a cost-effective way to ease the strain on hospitals in cities like Christchurch, where hundreds of people are turning up to the emergency department every day.
