Plans to charge for parking at Auckland Zoo and MOTAT is causing a flap, some might say an uproar, at a time when the cost of living just keeps rising.
Electronic parking meters will soon be installed at the two attractions where visitors will pay $2 an hour for parking, capped at $8.
The charge will help pay for around 200 new spaces.
