In the US state of Virginia, a jury has found actor Johnny Depp was defamed by his former wife Amber Heard when she said she was the victim of domestic abuse.
The jury found Amber Heard's claim was false and that she acted with actual malice. The jury has awarded Johnny Depp US$15 million dollars in damages.
Heard was countersuing over claims by Johnny Depp, but the jury found that was not defamatory.
