Only four players from the Black Sticks women's hockey team who won gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games have been named in the squad for the looming title defence in Birmingham.
But if a team of mostly-young players need guidance at the Games, they can turn to team-mate Aniwaka Haumaha, the 33-year-old Wellington defender who last played for her country seven years ago.
She returns with two young children in tow and a burning desire to prove herself again.
