House prices are continuing to fall and houses are taking longer to sell.
In the latest Real Estate Institute price index, the median in Auckland fell 1.9 percent from a year ago to one point one million dollars $1,125,000.
Residential sales volumes in the city dropped by 38 percent from May last year.
