Thousands of homes destroyed by earthquake in Afghanistan

The earthquake that struck Afghanistan on Wednesday is a major setback for an area already facing a major humanitarian crisis. The population is mostly impoverished, and experiencing chronic malnutrition amidst the worst drought in 37 years. This comes after coalition forces withdrew from Afghanistan last year, leaving the Taliban government to take over again. UNICEF's spokesperson in Afghanistan, Sam Mort, spoke to Susie Ferguson from Kabul.
