The Prime Minister is en route to Europe, where she will push to get a long-awaited free trade deal with the European Union over the line.
But Jacinda Ardern has left the door open to leaving Brussels without reaching an agreement if the EU fails to put forward an offer that's of real benefit to farmers here.
Ms Ardern will also attend the NATO leaders' summit in Madrid, during her whirlwind trip - the first New Zealand leader to do so.
