Changes to the country's political donations regime are going full-steam ahead of next year's election.
New legislation will require parties to publish the identity of any donor who gives more than $5000 a year - the current threshold is $15,000.
Voting eligibility for people overseas will also be temporarily expanded for the 2023 election, in light of the travel difficulties due to Covid-19.
