Ghislaine Maxwell has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for helping the sex offender and globetrotting financier Jeffrey Epstein sexually abuse underage girls.
Epstein killed himself in a New York City federal jail just over one month after his arrest in 2019 Maxwell's attorneys had pushed for leniency in sentencing citing her distressing upbringing.
