The Silver Ferns will have a new face on the courts for the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Kate Heffernan - who represented New Zealand in cricket in 2018 - is poised to make her debut after being named in the team of 12 this week.
The squad will compete in the Cadbury Netball Series next month before heading to Birmingham on the 21st of July for the Games.
