Analysis on long awaited free trade agreement

New Zealand has secured a long-awaited free trade deal with the European Union.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and European Commission President Ursula Von Der Leyen made the announcement in Brussels overnight.

It's estimated the trade deal will boost Kiwi exporter's revenue by almost $2-billion a year when it's fully implemented.

But some New Zealand exporters have already expressed their deep disappointment with the deal.
