School principals are applauding extra masks being supplied to primary school children and staff nationwide, but wish it had happened sooner.
The Government on Thursday announced that 50 child-sized masks will be provided for every child in schools and kura nationwide.
It'll happen from the beginning of term 3 until the end of the year. It's in addition to the adult-sized masks already offered to all school children from year 8 and up.
