Most businesses think the only way is down, according to the latest gloomy findings from the Institute of Economic Research.
Its quarterly survey shows business confidence in Aotearoa has fallen to its lowest level since the pandemic started - with nearly two-thirds of respondents believing conditions will deteriorate in the coming year.
