A new report warns Canterbury businesses will be out of pocket and people if they don't start taking wellbeing more seriously.
Skills Consulting interviewed 1800 employees across the country from a range of sectors - and Canterbury ranked the lowest with a wellbeing score of 56 out of 100.
The data also showed a third of businesses in New Zealand did not have any wellbeing plan in place.
General manager of wellbeing for Skills Consultancy Jane Kennelly spoke to Morning Report.
