The National Party leader is continuing to defend himself for comments made overseas suggesting New Zealand businesses were getting 'soft'.
Christopher Luxon made the comment while in the UK, he also travelled to Singapore and Ireland.
He told Morning Report he was talking about the need for a government in New Zealand that will empower businesses.
