Joelle King and Tom Walsh will be New Zealand's joint flagbearers at the opening ceremony of the Birmingham Commonwealth Games on Friday morning.
The ceremony runs from 6am tomorrow morning, with the Games proper starting tomorrow night our time, when triathlete Hayden Wilde dips his toes in the water.
Squash player Joelle King is one of the country's most decorated Commonwealth Games athletes, having won six medals.
At the last Games in Australia she won gold in the women's singles and women's doubles, as well as bronze in the mixed doubles, she'll be seeking more success this year.
