Bowel cancer survivor wants to talk about disease

A bowel cancer survivor says breaking the stigma and talking about the deadly disease is necessary to save lives.

Bowel Cancer NZ is calling for the screening age to be lowered from 60 to 45.

Anna Heritage-Sao was 32 years old when she found out she had the disease after her lower back pain turned out to be a tumor.

She spoke to Susie Ferguson.
