The New York state attorney general has sued former US President Donald Trump, his children and the Trump Organisation for fraud.
Attorney General Letitia James' alleges Mr Trump was involved in an expansive business fraud lasting over a decade that he used to enrich himself.
She seeks $US250 million in allegedly ill-gotten funds and to permanently bar the defendants from serving as the director of a business registered in New York state.
