Nurses around the country are set to refuse all extra shifts next week and the new health authority's warning them it's likely an illegal strike.
A special winter bonus of $100 a shift ends on Friday.
But their union, the Nurses Organisation, say there is still massive workload and it's not fair to go back to normal.
